About Berlin WW2 Tours
This site sets the WW2 and Third Reich tours in Berlin next to each other: guided walks past the site of Hitler's bunker and the Topography of Terror, bike tours, private historians, the Berlin Story Bunker and the Sachsenhausen memorial tours from the city. Next to them it lays out the sites you can see on your own by U-Bahn and S-Bahn, with the memorials' own opening hours. We compare tour listings, the memorials' and transport companies' own information and recent traveler feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours. The full line-up sits in the Berlin WW2 tours catalog.
Why It Exists
Every Berlin WW2 tour looks alike in a search result: a meeting point by a station, the site of Hitler's bunker, a price somewhere in a wide band. The listings rarely put the details that change your day in one place. How long does the walk last, and how far do you walk? Is the transport ticket in the price, or do you buy it yourself? Is the guide a historian, a licensed memorial guide or a general city guide? Does the tour go inside a museum, or only stand outside? And could you see the same places on your own, free, with a day ticket?
Those are the columns of the comparison table here, read off each listing and the operator's own page.
Where the Figures Come From
Tour prices, ratings, review counts and inclusions come from the listing on the platform that sells each tour. Meeting points and timings come from the listing and, where it is more precise, from the operator's own information. Opening hours, admission and closures come from the official sites of the memorials and museums, such as the Sachsenhausen Memorial and the Topography of Terror. Ticket prices for trains and buses come from BVG. Where a figure could not be read on an official page, the site does not print it.
When two sources disagree, the page shows both and says which one it follows.
What You Will Not Find
There is no invented tour guide or historian behind these pages, and no claim that anyone from the site walked these routes. Reviews shown are short excerpts from four and five star platform reviews. A complaint that comes up often, such as a long walk in the rain or a crowded stop at the bunker site, is written into the comparison with a way around it.
How the Site Is Paid For
The booking buttons are affiliate links to GetYourGuide and Viator. If you book through one, the platform pays a commission and your price does not change. The pages on seeing the sites on your own earn the site nothing, and they are on the site anyway.
No operator pays for a place, a badge or the pick. The details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
